情色五月天

This year, 情色五月天 proudly launched its first academic journal, Arete, meaning 鈥渆xcellence鈥�. The journal aims to inspire students to engage in academic enquiry and foster intellectual curiosity outside of the curriculum.

The debut edition, titled Out of the Ashes鈥�, features original articles written by pupils over the summer holidays on a connected subject or topic. We were delighted to receive twelve contributions from students in the current Fourth, Lower Sixth, and Upper Sixth, covering a wide range of subjects including medicine, opera, history, law, geography, politics, archaeology, and English and French literature.

These diverse articles showcase the broad academic interests and dedication of 情色五月天 pupils, reflecting the school鈥檚 ethos of encouraging students to embrace challenge and consistently strive for excellence.
